Biography
I am a Political Scientist, driven to run for Mayor of our vibrant city.
My experience at the Federal Reserve Bank involved managing multi-million dollar accounts with a strong emphasis on accountability. I will prioritize transparency and uphold ethical standards for the people.
I have deep roots to Los Angeles. My great uncle, Ralph Lopez, was born here in 1908 and supervised flooring renovations at the Ambassador Hotel in the 1940s. My last surviving aunt was also born in Los Angeles in 1928. This heritage fuels my passion for our city, which is mine and your home. I recall the days when our streets were clean and safe—playing in MacArthur Park, visiting the central market, taking the school bus from Parkview and 7th Street to the valley. I walked with friends from 12th Street and Union to Belmont High School. As an adult, I enjoyed going to the movies downtown and visiting Don Quixote nightclub at 3rd Street and Spring. The alleys were clean all around our city then. This is why I am passionate about running in this race. This is my home and yours; we need to unite to elect me as your next Mayor of Los Angeles.
Looking out my window today, I see our city overwhelmed by trash, dirty sidewalks, potholes, and homeless encampments. I cannot sit idly and watch as our city declines. I represent the many who are eager for a better Los Angeles. With transparency and accountability, I will lead us toward a brighter future. It is not a promise, it is my word of honor.
